The Chislehurst Wildlife Trail

A series of 20 painted stones depicting local wildlife are hidden around public woodland and spaces in Chislehurst. Each one has a code on the back with a link so you can see it being created. If you find one, take a photo, tag yourself (and me!) on Facebook @helenbaylisdesign or Instagram @helen_baylis_design and then PLEASE hide it again in a public place for others to find. (They're happy to travel!)

All the stones are well hidden but accessible from the main paths so as not to cause any damage to wildlife living spaces. Please bear this in mind when hiding them again. There are some around the commons, Whyte's Wood, Hawkwood, Petts Wood and Scadbury.

If you'd rather not touch the stones, simply send me a photo of your find via this website and I will send you the secret link to that stone's page. There you will find a time-lapse of the stone being painted.

Please don't take the stones home. I will soon be producing a signed series for anyone who wishes to buy, and possibly a series of greetings cards to match. A percentage of profits from sales will go to Chislehurst Commons to support their excellent work.
Follow my Facebook and Instagram accounts for updates.

The time lapse below shows the title stone being painted. Happy hunting!
